The Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion assists the priest and deacon in distributing the Body of Christ to our brothers and sisters. Ministers serve at Sunday Masses.
Ministers can also serve in bringing Holy Communion to the Homebound as well as those in our area nursing homes.
 

The Liturgical Ministries of Lector & Extraordinary Minister carry with them certain expectations and qualifications to serve in these liturgical roles.

A Person must:

1. Be fully initiated into the Catholic Church and living in communion with the Church (A baptized and confirmed Catholic).
2. Must not be living in an invalid marriage or in any other state of grave sin. The marriage must be recognized by the Catholic Church.
3. Must be striving to live a life which is compatible with Gospel values.
