Fr. Breslin is starting a monthly event called "Friday Night Live". Its structure will be simple: Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Praise and Worship Music, an inspirational talk about living the Faith, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation being available. After we pray, we'll play! We'll gather around a bonfire and just enjoy each other's company (and some snacks, of course; who doesn't love s'mores??) Our target audience will be teenagers from everywhere, both parishioners and non-parishioners; no RSVP is necessary, just show up and bring a friend! All age groups are welcome to join us in prayer, but we'll leave the bonfire and snacks for the kids. I firmly believe this is something that can grow with great success here at Saint Joseph's, as it has in many other places, and it has to start somewhere, so why not here in our beautiful church!
